Report An Absence

Parents, guardians and caregivers should report their student's absence within the first hour of the school day. The preferred method to report is by sending a ParentSquare message to the attendance secretary for each building. Reporting an absence this way qualifies as a written absence note for that day.

Other methods for reporting:

Elementary

Grades K-5

Leave a message with your name, your student's name, and the reason for the absence. You will need to send a signed note or signed medical note on letterhead with your student when they return to school.
 
You can also report an absence via ParentSquare or email to joni.sears@valleyview.k12.oh.us
This qualifies as a parent note for that day.

Middle School

Grades 6-8
