K-12 Campus Information

Student Pick-Up Procedure

If you are picking up your student(s) during the school day:

  • Ring the bell to the left of the doors in the Welcome Center to be buzzed in
  • Sign your student out electronically using the kiosks (the left one for Elementary, K-5, the right one for Middle School, 6-12)
  • Enter the information required for pick up: your name, student name, grade level, drop off or return, and reason

Those picking up or dropping off students will not be permitted past the Welcome Center.

Campus Visitor Procedure

Invited guests who wish to enter the building will need to swipe their state-issued ID at the kiosk in the Welcome Center. They will then receive a visitor sticker with their photo, which must be worn the entire time they are visiting. 

Parents and family members are not permitted past the Welcome Center without pre-approval.

All volunteers must undergo a background check at Central Office. Phone Terri Lewis for an appointment to do this: (937) 855.6581. There is no charge for this service.

Above is the parking and traffic map for guests attending an event at on the K-12 campus. All event parking will be at the back of the campus and guests will enter through the event entrance. Please note: the two red parking areas are not connected. There is a raised walkway between them.

The Auxiliary Gym is located in the Valley View Administration Building (the old High School). If you are attending an event at the Auxiliary Gym, you will park in the adjacent parking lot and enter through the gym doors.

Here is the updated traffic flow for dismissal for HIGH SCHOOL and MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY.

There is no change to any procedures for Elementary dismissal/pick-up.

Reminder that the staging area is only for K-5 parents picking up. Parents of 6th-12th graders should not arrive to the building before 2:30 PM.
