The Curtain Opens at Valley View for the Performing Arts

In an exciting endeavor, the Performing Arts Department offers the community the seventh annual Dinner Theatre featuring vignettes from three beloved musicals; Camelot, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.  This magical presentation of arts and entertainment will be offered in one performance only on Tuesday evening November 21st at 6:15 pm at the Germantown United Methodist Church.  Show tickets are $15.00, and include dinner followed by the show.

The doors to Valley View Local Schools have opened once again, with students, teachers, and faculty working tirelessly to establish the flow of the new year.  New classes, teachers, administrators and expectations create a flurry of adjustment and excitement from the students and faculty alike.  From the vantage point of the Performing Arts Department, the students and faculty are off to an enthusiastic start.

From auditions for this year’s Spring Musical, School of Rock, to concerts and trips to the Opera, the Drama Department and the Choral Department continually strive to offer inspirational and life changing opportunities to Valley View’s students.

This year’s Dinner Theatre will be here soon and only a limited number of tickets will be sold in advance.  Please contact either Dawn Gunter at Valley View High School (937) 855-4116 or the Germantown United Methodist Church (937) 855-2102 for ticket information.

Here’s to another “opening show” with the Valley View Performing Arts Department!  We hope to see you all there.
