On October 19th letters were sent home with students regarding procedures for this year’s Halloween parties in both the Primary and Intermediate buildings. New for this year, any Parent who wishes to attend their student’s party MUST contact that child’s teacher to be placed on a list for entrance that day. Parent’s must then check in at the building office before going to the classroom.
The Halloween festivities will be on Wednesday, October 31st. The primary will continue with their tradition of the “costume parade” around the track, which will take place at 2:30. Parties in the Intermediate will begin at 2:30. In both buildings, students are permitted to bring a costume, but should not plan to come to school wearing one. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR STUDENT TO COME WITH ACCESSORIES SUCH AS FAKE KNIVES, GUNS OR OTHER ITEMS THAT RESEMBLE WEAPONS. Students will be permitted to change into their costume prior to their parade/party. We are doing this to help ensure that the time students are in school before the parties is productive.
