The Valley View staff and community would like to offer condolences to school board member Tom Geglein and family on the loss of his Mother. Helen C. Geglein, 100, of Northridge, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 30, 1918 to Thomas & Sadie (Gerhold) Kaveney. Helen was a long time active member of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Young at Heart Club. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert, in 2004, and 4 sisters. Survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Marsh; sons, A. Dennis (Pam) Geglein, Thomas (Vickie) Geglein; 7 grandchildren & numerous great grandchildren; other relatives & many friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at Queen of Martyrs Church, 4134 Cedar Ridge Rd., Dayton, OH 45414. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
